YMCA Central in Colaba area of Mumbai, is a down to earth , budget hostel that provides accommodation in good spartan style a/c rooms at a very reasonable rate. It is an ideal place to stay whether you are on business or on holiday. Located on a quiet side street from the main Colaba road, YMCA is literally within walking distance to the most throbbing, exciting, hip Colaba area of South Mumbai. Be it shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, movies or just to get know about Mumbai,one gets the feel of Mumbai by just staying in this area.

YMCA provides budget accommodation for students & tourists from all over the world. Prior membership is normally required for stay, however we can arrange temporary memebership for 3 months & confirm any bookings. However, it is advisable to book as early as possible, as the hostel is always reserved months in advance by repeat clients. YMCA also has an indoor sports facility and outdoor sports and recreation facilities. It also offers venue for conferences, lectures and seminars.

  • More than 14 days before the start of the holiday- Deposit only
  • 7-13 days- 50% of total holiday cost
  • 6 days start of holiday 100% of total holiday cost

Bookings will be accepted only upon receipt of full payment in advance.

  • Bookings are accepted only from confirmed Members.
  • Temporary membership fee of Rs. 150.00 will be levied for each person
  • Membership will be valid for 3 months.

All rooms are located on 4 floors. They are air-conditioned with ensuite bathrooms and are decently furnished with single or double beds, bedside lamps and a cable tv. Bookings are accepted on room only basis however complimentary bed tea is provided with advance notice at the reception.
